What I Love About UCPS

UC Printing Services has been the National Writing Project's printer of record for longer than any of us currently on staff can remember. In all that time, there hasn't been a year go by without the NWP using the services that UCPS offers. UCPS has printed everything from our quarterly publications or our Annual Report to smaller projects such as tri-fold brochures or folders or even bookmarks. Every project is done on time and within budget; every project has the same attention to detail and is approached with the same can-do spirit and friendly yet professional attitude.

The scope of services available at UCPS doesn't stop at printing. The National Writing Project relies on UCPS for our mass mailings, too. There are now more than 200 writing project regional sites, and they all need to receive support and promotional materials several times a year. The materials might be simply a brochure and cover letter, or there might be several letters and several publications. The constraint is that they always have to be mailed and received within a few days' delivery window. The simple fact is that they always are.

I am sure that I've dared ask that a job be done when we needed it, not when UCPS could do it. Another vendor might have laughed in my face. Not so at UCPS. The familiar people assigned to our project always work hand-in-glove with us from the project's start to its finish, checking in with us to let us know where they are in the steps of our job. They even provide couriers to pick up project materials and drop off the finished product.

It's difficult to imagine our work day life without the professional results we expect and routinely get from UCPS.
